Nothing wrong with the products but take my advice if your not a competent DIY person call in a professional what you think you will save will cost you in the long run, but if you fancy a go be prepared for an expensive divorce 😉 😜

Good idea but needs some tweaks

Simple and useful item but there is no easy way to clamp the jig without affecting the drill path. The marking hole for the cross bore is too small for a typical pencil to pass though.

No problem with Ironmongery Direct very good service as always, as to the kit the 1in drill bit is a waist of time if you are drilling into hard wood. as to the 10mm bit to drill in the end of the hand rail this should be a wood drill bit not HSS bit not easy to keep central hence I bought 2 more drills, and lastly the points on the jig should be longer again very hard to keep lined up in hard wood. on a plus it does help you line up the holes needed that's about it though

Brilliant bit of kit

Sped up the fitting and had confidence it was doing the job. Worth the money to make your life easier

Usefull but not essential

Just used the jig. Usefull as this is the first time I have used zipbolts. If you have several to do, makes the job quicker and easier with the jig. Not too impressed with the 1" wood drill, but appreciate it has to be odd, or the awle may spike through on a normal wood drill.
