Not great, the chain it's self is too short, in the picture there's clearly 8 links (9 if you include the middle link) but there's only 4 (5 inc the middle link) and so you can't see anything when you open the door, the opening is literally 2cm wide And as the door sits in a recess then it's impossible to get your head to the side and see anything! I'm using it more at night to add a layer of preotection to the door! but as a device to open the door to see who's calling its pretty useless!

You don't always get what you pay for....

I spent the extra on a branded door chain however was disappointed as the quality was the same as a cheaper none branded one and 2 out of six screw heads snapped off on instalation. I removed all screws supplied apart from the 2 stuck in the door and replaced with high quality stainless steel screws. Buy the cheapest one or the most expensive.....

It's a simple thing. The screws aupplied are good quality.
