Penny-Pinching
Bought two different Yale locks together and both have the same annoying problem. The 2 screws that attach the key cylinder through the door to the back plate and mechanism are much too long for most standard modern doors and in their instructions they suggest cutting them down - try cutting down a threaded bolt and see if it still screws! So now have to visit local store. In the past, companies provided 2 sizes of bolts to cover all door thicknesses. Buyer beware.
