About this product
- Pozi countersunk wood screws designed to be consistently reliable in softwood, chipboard, plastic and some hardwoods or into masonry with the use of a plastic plug
- Partially threaded - screws with lengths of 80mm and above are partially threaded to 70mm
- Double countersunk reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists completion of countersinking
- Wax lubricated to enhance screw insertion time, extra driving torque and resistance to corrosion
- 40° deep single thread to provide a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- 25° sharp point and single lead for a fast start and improved thread acceptance
- CE compliant with the Construction Products Regulations (Eurocode 5 EN1995-1-1)

I have been using these screws to attach joist hangers when building decks, after pricing elsewhere, ironmogerydirect are by far the best quality and best price for these 50mm external screws, I have been quoted double the price for less quality.
