Let down by details
This is a sturdy item, with a fine finish designed for fitting to a pair of rebated doors. As far as the fitting is concerned, the latch is fine, however it requires a 24mm hole for the barrel. Unfortunately, this leaves a segment visible after the latch is fitted. Small, but nevertheless annoying, professionally fitted door furniture should not have gaps showing around the edges. Union is an old well established maker of locks and so on, providing a flange to hide the hole should not beyond the wit of their designers. Avoid.
