Latch Catches and Sticks

I regret buying these latches, the plastic latch catches and sticks so the door won't stay closed. They can't be opened to fettle and try to improve their operation. The screws are such poor quality I can't even remove the latch and replace it as the screw heads have shredded.

I found the product good quality and easy to fit (as replacement for a latch which had ceased to work). All my internal doors have identical latches and if others break (as they show signs they might) I would have no hesitation in replacing them with this product
