exactly what I wanted
the only problem is the fixing comes in 2 parts and the idea is you screw the internal plate to the door then the cover plate clips over the top so to hide the 2 screws. the escutcheon had been pressed together and it is almost impossible to get the cover off the internal plate. I ended up damaging the cover plate with the chrome peeling off and to make it work I silicone it onto the door. A load of needless effort if the plate was supplied in the 2 pieces rather than one.
