Just what I needed
I have bought velocity screws before and they are an excellent product. I have recently built a shed out of two old sheds not a nail in sight all velocity screws. I find them excellent value from Ironmongery direct.

- Dual angle thread designed for superior hold
- Partially threaded from upwards of 40mm length to stop the timber jacking
- Rapid drive twist cut enhances drive performance
- Over 504 hours salt spray resistance due to its special plating in accordance to BS EN 9227:2012
- Self-countersinking
- Slash point tip helps prevent the timber splitting when screwing close to the edge, whilst also helping to reduce torque. NOTE: Slash point from 25mm and above

a poor screw not worth buying
These screws are probably the worst i have brought .They don't pull in to soft wood and are hopeless on hard wood which i brought them for to try a different screw although the ones i use from elsewhere are great i only brought them as i was ordering other bits . Very disappointed as ironmongery direct usually stock good trade products . Give these screws a wide birth they are only good for the bin .
