Solid, adjustable and looks good.

An excellent replacement for the plastic vent opener thst came with our Halls Silverline Leanto Greenhouse. Infinitely adjustable! The only slight downside was having to make a couple of extended brackets to ensure an adequate clearance on the opening, but very simple to do.

Although, the spec says 250mm, these are double extending with an inner reverse threaded rod. They’ll extend way more than 250mm. I’ve used them for the opening vents on a glasshouse I’ve built and they are excellent. Solid brass and the end fitting can be detached from the window with a spring loaded pull out clevis pin. I put some oil on the threads and they turn very smoothly. Highly recommended

Does the job

This was to replace a failed electric opener. which it does with remarkable ease, and at a fraction of the replacement price of the electric one. The only adjustment was that the swivel bracket has a flat base and fitting to a sloping frame requires packing ( Rubber Pad).
