- A galvanised joist hanger (part code JHA270/47) featuring a speed-prong to hold the hanger in position allowing easier attachment - no more holding the hanger, joist and nail in one hand while swinging a hammer with the other!
- Incorporates a location tab allowing easy alignment of the joist hanger to the timber
- Minimum and maximum nailing schedules are stamped into the strap ensuring the correct fitting of the joist hanger
- This joist hanger features a wider strap providing more surface area on the supporting timber and allowing increased nail spacing
- Can be used for face fix or wrap over
- Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel
- Holes suited for a 30 x 7.5mm galvanised square twist nail

Good for decking joists
Used to build a raised decking to hang joists (noggins) between beams. Although advertised as 50mm fixings the width is actually slightly less so for 50mm composite joists it was necessary to chamfer off a little from the bottom 2 edges of the joist to fit snugly. This was not a problem rather than an inconvenience.
