- Simpson StrongTie Part Code: JHA270/47
- A galvanised joist hanger featuring a speed-prong to hold the hanger in position allowing easier attachment - no more holding the hanger, joist and nail in one hand while swinging a hammer with the other!
- Incorporates a location tab allowing easy alignment of the joist hanger to the timber
- Minimum and maximum nailing schedules are stamped into the strap ensuring the correct fitting of the joist hanger
- This joist hanger features a wider strap providing more surface area on the supporting timber and allowing increased nail spacing
- Can be used for face fix or wrap over
- Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel
- Holes suited for a 30 x 7.5mm galvanised square twist nail

Fixing holes
The holes in the bottom plate weren’t quite big enough for an m12 drill therefore had to use smaller fixings than I would’ve liked. Apart from that they seemed pretty decent
