Exactly the door threshold I needed

I was struggling to find a replacement for our old front door's threshold, in black to match our door's other black fittings. I found on line that Ironmongerydirect had exactly what I was looking for. The ordering process was easy and delivery was very quick. The product itself is high quality and very good value. It came with easy to follow installation instructions and had designed-in tolerances to allow a perfect fit.

Looks good but fiddly to fit

I am not convinced that the instructions are accurate. I measured carefully as instructed but had to take door off a second time plus tweek the threshold itself (I am a carpenter with 25years experience). There seems to be very little tolerance. Not sure I would use again.

Slightly tricky to fit, until I worked out that the 2 edge seals came as 1 and you had to peel them apart like licorice!

Great quality and durable

Purchased as part of a retro fit for a clients front door requiring a low profile for wheelchair access while maintaining a weather proof seal. Extremely easy to fit, solid design, with zero draft/water penetration, should last for years to come. Would certainly purchase again for jobs requiring wheelchair or walking frame access.
