Good sturdy product

This stormguard threshold is a very sturdy piece. I could tell from sawing it to size that it is good quality aluminium. I like the plastic partition between interior and external faces, which i assume is to prevent thermal bridging. Delivery was very prompt as advertised.

Needed to finish off wide pair of doors we have made and fitted in local university.

The product I bought was slightly damaged but as it was getting cut to length it wasn't a problem! The Fruit pastilles made up for it, thanks for sending a catalogue also

i had used a level threshold on a south facing set of french doors and water was finding its way in through the rebate. this product has a back dam so fingers crossed it won't let water through

Overall a good product. The standard of finish is excellent, the thermal barrier seems effective and providing the door base is properly aligned within the limits specified the draught proofing is also fine. However the product is let down by the simplest of things - installation instructions. It is not obvious how best to anchor the product or how best to fit it to the floor (internal or external) or the jambs. A perfectly good product could easily be blamed for poor installation for the sake of a bit of paper.
