- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. Fire /Smoke door threshold strip.
Good quality product really easy to fit but you need to have the skills and correct tools to carry out fitting if door is already installed prior to installing.
Easy to cut, looks good
Fitted to a door between a hallway and garage. Looks good on the inside of the house and easy to fit. Instructions detailed everything you need to do and once the angle was set up on the bottom of the door, the seal is very smooth. Can’t comment on the durability as it’s only been fitted a day, but it appears to be good quality.
