Screws that came with the hinges could have been better ( too soft ), and countersink on some hinges could have been deeper

Was very happy to find these after a long search

Well made and easy to fit product - the hardest part is removing the old rusted, seized hinges (if hinges are steel based this will happen after 10-20 years - less than the life of a hardwood window, particularly if the window has not been opened often). The only slight drawback is these replacements are also of brass plated steel, not solid brass, so will again have a limited life.

Great service, thank you - ordered on the Thursday just before bank Holiday weekend and expected arrival on the following Tuesday but they arrived next day, with an added chocolate bonus! Quality of product excellent. Would recommend to others.

Not as described and very expensive for what it is!

The description and price indicate that these are solid brass but I was sent brass plated steel. After many emails and phone calls ironmongery direct claim that this is correct and £5.40 is the correct price. Brass plated steel are available from anywhere for under £2 per per so I returned them.
