- Made from A2 stainless steel which offers exceptional reliability and strength - the perfect choice for exterior use where corrosion resistance is of importance
- Double countersunk reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists completion of countersinking
- Fully threaded - screws are partially threaded above and including 80mm length to assist with clamping of materials
- Patented lubrication, designed to enhance screw insertion time and provides greater resistance to corrosion
- 25° sharp point for easy penetration
- 40° deep single thread provides secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- Surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque under load and a core hardness of up to 450 HV for improved ductility

Ideal
These screws are ideal for fixing cork boards to stone walls before lime plaster is applied.
Quality fixing
There are lots of fixings out there theses days from all sorts is manufacturers but spax have always been and still are one of the best. We are using these fixings to counter batten the outside of an oak frame. We are not pre drilling and they go straight through the 70 mm counter batten and 50 mm into the frame first time every time and being oak the Wirox coating stops decay.
