as the screw heads will be exposed I wanted a screw head that was both rustproof and was not in danger of being damaged leaving rough edges when being screwed in as there is a lot less chance of the screwdriver slipping with a star head

Nice, but paying the price!
Nice screws, used for fixing larch cladding so needed stainless steel. Pre-drilled the cladding for clearance but these screwed easily into the battens, no cam-out because of the Torx drive, and held it all securely. Only downside is the cost - used Spax screws throughout the garden room build and am feeling the pain in my pocket. I'm counting on them to out-last me, though!
