Spax Antiqued Stainless Screws
Super quick delivery and great screws for hardwood decks. Not cheap but bought as they're stainless and also to blend in with Balau decking - and they do that just fine. These screws will self tap and countersink but I have found that a smaller diameter pilot hole with a countersink gives a neater finish as the screws 'tear out' a bit of the surface when countersinking. Finally, use a drill to Torx drive these unless you have the finesse of God with an impact driver - overzealous impacting can, obviously, strip the heads quickly and then they are a nightmare to remove (says the voice of over zealous experience ;) ).
