- Suitable for hinges up to 100mm width
- Pack suits 3 pairs of FD60 hinges or 6 pairs hinges on FD30
- Are you fitting fire doors? If yes, you need to fit these pads to comply with European standards
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. You should fit these intumescent pads under any CE marked hinges to comply with the marking requirements. Failure to comply and fit intumescent pads in these circumstances will negate the installation. Fitting: fit one pad under each hinge leaf for FD30 and two under each leaf for FD60. Certifire is a Third Party Certification scheme encompassing compliance with British or European Standards, Fire test performance and Quality Assurance to ensure that the product certificated provides an acceptably high quality of performance.

- Ventilation including air-conditioning, ductwork or simply cutting holes for ventilation within buildings can contravene British Standards when installed into fire doors or compartment walls. One answer comes in the form of an intumescent block which allows air to flow through under normal conditions but closes under its own expansion when exposed to a fully developed fire
- The large range of square and rectangular vents we offer are available for prompt dispatch ensuring both strict batch control and compliance with stringent manufacturing standards
- By design the dampers offer low maintenance having no moving parts, hence no need for regular maintenance apart from inspection to ensure they have not been damaged
