Not strong 3nough

The cutter itself was good, however the thread that attaches it to the guide rod, sheared. It appears to be made of an alloy, therefore its strength is compromised under load. As a result I had to remove the sheared bit from deep within the door, and have to remove the sheared thread from the guide rod. Maybe the construction of the thread should be reviewed?

Snapped in the shaft after one use. Now the shaft cant be reused either

Great piece of kit, very well engineered, well worth the cost as it speeds up my door fitting.
