I bought these to strengthen a fence job. I bought two metal fence repair spikes which drive into the existing concrete sockets. Unfortunately I bought them too long leaving a significant portion above the ground. I used the brackets to fix box section of spikes to sleepers/decking joists. This eliminated all movement in the posts which had previously been a problem. Would buy again
