Very neat solution

Great way to smarten up holes for shelf support pins, especially if the wood is prone to tear out when drilling.

Very tight fit even with a new 7mm bit and the hole ‘reamed’ out.

I'm happy but not entirely !

I have found a 7.5mm drill bit works best, but am finding some of the sleeves to be loose or pull out when removing the shelf peg. Some of the pegs need to be pulled out with pliers. 7mm is definatley too tight. I'm happy to use these again, because they provide a good solution for adjustable shelves, and once the client has decided where the shelves need to be, they are rarely altered, and the above issues would be of little consequence.
