- We would strongly recommend bedding both hinge leaves on intumescent pads to comply fully with BS EN 1634 test requirements
- Low expansion pressure makes it ideal for use with door ironmongery & is specified by many door manufacturers
- Provides FD30 & FD60 fire protection with one pad under each hinge leaf
- Interdens ® is the registered trade mark of BASF Wolman GmbH, Sinzheim, Germany
- It is recommended that gloves are worn whilst fitting
- Internal use only
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested & accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door & frame with intumescent pads under each leaf.
