About this product
- Protects the integrity of fire compartments where pipes & cables pass through walls, floors & ceilings
- Hinged collar to fit to existing pipework & is locked with a steel clamp
- In the event of a fire the pipe will soften & the intumescent will expand to fill any gaps
- Can be cast in or surface mounted using the brackets
- Can be mounted either vertically or horizontally
- Provides 4 hours protection on concrete & 2 hours protection on timber
- Tested to BS 476: Part 20

Excellent fire collar.
Fits nice and snuggly over 125mm duct. Comes in 2 halves that slot together in situ if needbe. Others available have big clunky clasp and hinge that, unless you're keeping the collar external and visible, necessitates a much bigger access hole. This is so much neater. Plus 2/4 hour resistance. A winner in my view. Add fantastic ironmongery direct service. No brainer.
