- Suitable for hinges up to 100mm width
- Pack suits 3 pairs of FD60 hinges or 6 pairs hinges on FD30
- Are you fitting fire doors? If yes, you need to fit these pads to comply with European standards
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. You should fit these intumescent pads under any CE marked hinges to comply with the marking requirements. Do not use this
Backing paper pulls off the adhesive layer every time, no matter how carefully it's done. Tested a piece with the blow lamp and there was zero expansion, all it did was crumble. Picked up some proper intumescent tape from our glazing supplier to use for the job and chucked this roll of garbage went in the bin

Did the job clean and easy to use
Did the job but quite expensive by the time you have put the tape on beads and rebate a roll doesn’t go far .but overall a good way of dry glazing

The Tape seemed as though it had been sat on a shelf for a long time Peeling the tape covering off proved to be a little difficult
