- Pack suits 3 pairs of FD60 hinges or 6 pairs hinges on FD30
- Are you fitting fire doors? If yes, you need to fit these pads to comply with European standards
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. Purchased for a throughway door that is used all the time, it is definitely up for the job. Really heavy duty door closer which gives a nice smooth close. If your door is lightweight this product is not for you. The unit itself is a good 3-4kgs. Delivery was very quick and the packaging was well wrapped.
