Outstanding Customer Service
I ordered some galvanised brackets that failed to arrive due mainly to the delivery company's error. I contacted Ironmongery Direct who apologised and had to re-order as brackets had been returned to base. Ironmongery Direct refunded my postage costs. After 5 days, having still not received the brackets I contacted them again, they were very concerned for me about this state of affairs and promised they would be delivered the following day, which they were. To my surprised I discovered that Ironmongery Direct had refunded the cost of the brackets to my account. I have nothing but praise for the way Ironmongery Direct treated my problems. They were good listeners and displayed genuine empathy towards my problem. I would recommend this company to any buyer in this day where untrustworthy internet companies abound. As to the product, it is of excellent quality and even more sturdy than I expected.
