Work really well, but note the way the door is hung.

They worked perfectly for what we needed, sturdy and look good. What confused me was that I ordered hinges for a door that was hinged from the left hand side on the inside, but they would not work, ordered right hand hinges, which worked, I can only gather that when you order, you take the hinged side from the outside of the door

fantastic quality . hang the hinge sticking out from the frame, a little . like a parliament hinge , as the door opens it rises in the frame and hits if you don't

I bought these to replace similar sized hinges on an old door. We were replacing the door with oak and as they had used similar sized ones we bought these to fit the knockouts on the frame. They are a little overkill but work fine. It was frustrating that they come in packs of 2 as I needed 3.

They are quite the nicest rising butt hinges I have had the pleasure to purchase.
