Not a pain in the hinge.
Needed a way to stop a door rubbing badly on a new carpet. I was also fitting new door handles & spotted hinges on the same site. Measured original hinges OK. Chose the heavier duty version. Offered up, good fit most screw holes matched. Plugged the holes with match sticks. A little rubbing at top of door solved with light planeing & coarse sanding. The hinge is thickly lubricated & runs well.
