Unusable Product
These hinges are fabricated from 3mm thick material whereas the catalogue states 2mm. They require recesses of 4.5mm to 5mm deep to function correctly as the dimension over the two leaves when the hinge is in the closed condition is a little over 10mm. In view of all this I was unable to use them for the planned application. I had purchased similar hinges some years ago and experienced no such problems. In addition the pins had some deposit on them similar to corrosion which had to be cleaned off before the hinges would operate at all.

Not the best
Poor quality finish - plated not polished, and the client was not happy with them so will be returning, but that why I use ironmongery direct - free retuned
