Shockingly difficult when making returns.

Buying an expensive rubber mallet, two of same items shown, I chose cheaper option. I was sent a really cheap mallet. Tried to make return and ask for refund. It too a long call to rude lady and numerous back and fourth emails to rectify. They blamed fact that it went through ironmongery direct but despatched by third party. Then they rectified their website and denied they had done so. Really disappointed by ironmongery direct.
