- Designed for use when soil conditions are unsuitable for drive in spikes
- Extremely hard wearing and resistant to corrosion due to the dual coating
- Manufactured from heavy duty mild steel which is then zinc plated, with a moisture resistant brown powder coating over the top for ultimate durability
- Protects the fence post from water, fungal and insect damage
- Mechanically tightens around the fence post using the bolts for a secure fit and easy removal of fence post at a later date if required
- The shoe should be set into a 450mm cube of concrete so that the base plate sits on the surface, the fence post should only be inserted once the concrete has cured
- Size 100 x 100mm

All I could find in stock
I wanted to get on with a job and these were the only 100mm ones I could find. Not the usual quality I expect from Ironmongery Direct. 1 was bent and 1 missing its bolt, quite flimsy legs, but just about fit for purpose

Get what you pay for
The post shoes, firstly needed some reforming on an off cut of fence post prior to use. The gate on one of the shoes was significantly lower than the other side, but oddly enough the post retainer was fairly square. Only used the shoes as they won't be supporting a fence, but being used to support legs of a pergola.
