Item in stock was promptly delivered; the handle, made to metric measurements, replaced an imperial measurement handle perfectly well, looks good and works!

Good looking but...

Good looking handles, but the spindle bar is too short for the door I was doing.

Got these to go in a 17th century farm house. The look is good and the finish not too shiny, but can be easily chipped. But also easily painted over if a different colour is required. The action is positive and precice, time will tell if it wears sloppy. There was a lump of cast on the pin which restricts movemt on one set. This stopped the handle sitting straight. Not worth returning though as swapping the components with the other side quickly solved the problem. Just needs a better check on quality control. The set is supplied with 8. Slot head screws to secure them. They are a little long and quite soft. And need carefull drill selection into an oak door. Though not perfect, they are the look I want and a good price. And I am likely to get some more for other doors in the property.

This fitting was purchased to replace an existing Tudor handle set which had fallen apart. It matched the original perfectly except that the screw holes were in a slightly different position which meant plugging the old holes and re-drilling for the new.
