Easy to install although the supplied spindle wasn't long enough, disappointing that they don't supply extra long as standard as sizes can vary so much with these locks and could then be simply cut to size. Had to purchase separate extra long spindle to complete the job.

Didn’t work with rim latches

These look great and feel solid and are heavy built. However when using with ironmongerys rim latch on a standard 35mm door they don’t fit properly and I had to return them and find an alternative. Unfortunately the spindle has preset threaded holes to receive the grub screw and these are slightly out of line by a few mm. This was enough to make it almost impossible to line up and if you do manage it after much time of trying then it pulls the handle in too tight. This miss alignment then cause the handle to be too tight and not function properly! This would be resolved if the holes were in the right place or the hole on the knob was threaded instead and tightened on any part of the spindle like a standard latch. It’s cost me a lot of money messing around in time and petrol now and having to go back to the job another day to finish off. Very disappointed with these and itonmongery direct on this occasion!
