- Are you fitting to fire doors? We would strongly recommend that you bed both hinge leafs on these intumescent liners to fully comply with BS EN 1634 test requirements
- Suitable for hinges up to 100mm width
- Pack suits 3 pairs of FD60 hinges or 6 pairs hinges on FD30
- Are you fitting fire doors? If yes, you need to fit these pads to comply with European standards
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. You should fit these intumescent pads under any CE marked hinges to comply with the marking requirements. Failure to comply and fit intumescent pads in these circumstances will negate the installation. Fitting: fit one pad under each hinge leaf for FD30 and two under each leaf for FD60. This product came with clear concise instructions and wae easy to install, it gave several options for installation, fitted within 10 minutes

Just a little bit of trimming to open out the existing cut out in the door, and this item fitted straight in.

Needed a few for internal flat front doors and this is a very well priced item considering it looks nice installed and conforms to fire regs aswell! Easy installation

Broke fitting it, it wasn’t a user error as I’ve fitted hundreds. Cheep plastic and went in the bin
