Works very well!

Having built a home cinema room, I was having difficulty in soundproofing the door. The seals I was using either didn’t seal well enough, or, having changed them for other types, impinged on the operation of the door, stopping it from closing fully. This was my fault, with me not meeting the tolerances for clearance around the jambs, but I just couldn’t find a door seal that would work without affecting the operation of the door itself. These seals, fitting as they do to the outside of the jambs, get around the problem of door gaps not being suitable for seals inside the jambs. The aluminium extrusion is slim enough to still be discreet, and you’d barely notice the seals around the doorway. They are a touch pricey, but they do the job well. Easy to fit, the instructions say the holes are supposed to be elongated for adjustment, but they’re not, so do make sure you’ve got them where you need them, as adjustment isn’t possible once secured in position. All in all, very happy with the end result. Combined with drop down door seals, I can now play movies as loud as I like without disturbing the rest of the household!

Not cheap but perfect for the job...

Struggled a bit to fork out the money for this product but was glad I did when it was installed. It really is a high quality product with excellent sound stop properties. Well worth the money and I use it all the time now....
