Good sturdy hinge that was needed to replace a maco one. Virtually matched the cut outs and but typically new screw holes needed.

Very sturdy

I bought these to fix two exterior doors on our log cabin that always go out of kilter when we have wet weather. They look suitable for the job, but I haven't fitted them yet as I need my son to return from Uni to help me as the doors are too heavy for a one man job. Only downside is that they came with no instructions,,,, but I think I can work out what to do!

Door swings perfectly

These hinges are amazing for anyone like myself that struggles with lining up hinges perfectly. None of the frames in my house are particularly straight and my chiseling is not the best, so most of my doors open and close okay but they squeak or you can see they are stressing the hinges and/or wood. With these, close is good enough and then you can adjust from there to get it perfect. My only hope is that a future version allows you to adjust all the angles without needing to loosen both hinges. At the moment if you want to move the whole door up you have to loosen the top and bottom screws until the door is free, position it, then tighten. It's a bit of a hassle. The single screw at the back to adjust the angle you can do when the door is in place, it'd be nice if all the adjustments worked like that. Well worth the extra cost to compensate for my average DIY skills.

Great hinge, slightly disappointing finish

Needed these in a hurry, usually use the Mako version. These are just as good and a little bit cheaper. One thing to bear in mind, the silver finish is not the same as the photo, its a galvanized type finish.
