Very happy with this sashlock. It was easy to fit, the action works nicely and it fit nicely into the narrow wooden framed French doors that it was installed into

The product itself is very well made and solid. However, an additional barrel has to be purchased to complete the locking mechanism. I required the lock as a replacement for one that had been damaged in a botched job by an inexperienced "craftsman". If the lock is required as a replacement check all measurements fully because some dimensions have changed from earlier versions and, as with all locks, a few mm can make a big difference to the ease of fitting and the degree of additional work required. It is an expensive lock but it is the only real option for a very narrow fitting. Only Ironmongery Direct appear to have it for sale. If a lock of these narrow dimensions is required, this is a good lock and will withstand wear. Most wooden doors would break before damage could be done to the lock.
