Just what i needed
Needed something to stop the draughts coming into my kitchen through the tubing wwhen my manose fan wasnt on ( especially as its near the boiler outlet and fumes could come in at times). As has been said by previous reviewers, i had to bend the springs a bit so that the flaps stay shut when there is no wind, but this was easy enough. Also it was slightly the wrong size to slot directly onto the back of the fan, so im not sure if i was supposed to buy some sort of joining ring also? - but I sealed the join with electricians tape & then it slotted into the ventilation tubing fine anyway. Once in place it is now doing a great job! The flaps open when the fan is on & close as soon as it stops. No more drafts, which will be great in winter & probably will save on heating bills.
