Not strong enough

Easy to fit but not quite strong enough to hold an external gate against the wind.

Great but too small

I realised after purchasing these that they are too small to work with standard door handles. On one with recessed handles it worked perfectly and had just the right amount of hold. They would have to be at least 30mm each to work with handles.

Great item

Super little hold open magnets. They might be small but they are certainly strong! I’ve fitted these to my garden room French doors. I couldn’t mount them so the two parts met flush as the door opens at a slight off set angle to the frame but these still work! Happy days! Would certainly recommend. Can’t comment on longevity yet as just purchased.

Tough Cookie

Small but usefully very strong and will hold back a small or medium gate in high winds. Nice to include screw fastening holes and screws to complete the job. Quite tough and with a plastic cushion shield so it will last with a fair amount of shock.
