Make sure you compare ALL measurements when ordering a lock
Make sure that you compare ALL the measurements when replacing a like for like lock. I ordered what I thought was the same lock from the same manufacturer only to find that the case hight was slightly larger to accommodate an improved latch spring. This needed alterations to the mortice and the position of the striking plate.

This was purchased for use in a school. It gets a lots of wear especially with all the children and has proved to be very sturdy
