Cupboard slam locks
I ordered 10 keyed alike Cabinet slam locks for a school classroom refit project that required finishing. The client subsequently asked for additional locks, I called customer service who were very helpful and arranged the additional locks with the same key to be delivered next day. The locks have a sprung latch for closing, unlocking holds the latch in the body which requires reverse of unlocking to reset the latch. The fixing screws supplied seem a little short so I used 20 x 3.5s in an 18 mm door. One annoyance the barrel and ferrul are an odd size an 18 mm hole is to small and a 20 mm to big so some faffing ensued to get them to hold, I know the trades will say use a 3/4" or 19 mm bit but trust me when I say they are almost impossible to come by at short notice! A good solution that I'd recommend!
