Klug soft close drawer runners.

I purchased these runners for a bedroom chest of drawers. Very sturdy construction but a little stiff to open and close. The spec said they will take 25kg in weight but I think that the soft close mechanism will not work with that amount of weight as they seem just strong enough to pull the drawer closed. The drawers I have fitted will only have clothes in, anything heavier could cause problems.

Great drawer runners for the price

Excellent quality, good smooth mechanism. I have used these before on another project and decided to buy a larger version of the same product for my chest of drawers project. My only gripe, and the reason why they only get 4 stars, is that the initial pull needs to be quite strong to release the soft closer, but after that they perform very well and close beautifully. Whilst I would not regard these as cheap, they are very well priced in comparison to Blum runners, and perform almost as well. Unlike Blum, there is no adjustment once fitted, so accurate alignment is crucial.
