Works as expected
These things are sold in a range of prices, and this — one of the cheaper ones — seems to be OK. Fits in a 14mm drill hole if not using the intumescent pads (perhaps needs a wider bit if the intumescent pads are used, i.e. in a fire door?). Check the optics for cracks on arrival (I was sent a cracked one, but ironmongery direct replaced it next day).
