- Are you fitting to fire doors? We would strongly recommend that you bed both hinge leafs on these intumescent liners to fully comply with BS EN 1634 test requirements
- Suitable for hinges up to 100mm width
- Pack suits 3 pairs of FD60 hinges or 6 pairs hinges on FD30
- Are you fitting fire doors? If yes, you need to fit these pads to comply with European standards
- IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION: It is a legal requirement for hardware fitted to fire resisting doors to be CE marked. This ensures, in the case of any legal claim, that the best quality hardware has been fitted. The hinges we have marked on this page as suitable for fire doors are all tested and accredited. Important: When the hinges shown as being CE Marked are included in a fire resisting test they are fitted to the door and frame with intumescent pads under each leaf. You should fit these intumescent pads under any CE marked hinges to comply with the marking requirements. Failure to comply and fit intumescent pads in these circumstances will negate the installation. Fitting: fit one pad under each hinge leaf for FD30 and two under each leaf for FD60. Certifire is a Third Party Certification scheme encompassing compliance with British or European Standards, Fire test performance and Quality Assurance to ensure that the product certificated provides an acceptably high quality of performance.

- Heavy double springing ensures positive return of the lever or knob to its original position whilst the soft bolt spring ensures the latch locates into its keep quietly - an important factor in apartment buildings
- 60 minute fire rating
- Suitable for bolt through door furniture
- Easily reversible onsite for left or right hand applications
- NOTE: Due to the heavy spring within the latch, these tubular latches are not suitable for sprung door furniture

I believe this item is a good price. I was able to cut to my own requirements, so very useful on fire doors locks and hinges etc. If you compare with the 6 piece hinge pack, you are getting 40% more for approximately the same price.A worthwhile purchase.

I believe this item is a good price. I was able to cut to my own requirements, so very useful on fire doors locks and hinges etc. If you compare with the 6 piece hinge pack, you are getting 40% more for approximately the same price.A worthwhile purchase.
