About this product
- This Fire Rated Downlight is a safe and attractive fitting for a GU10 lamp
- Unlike standard downlights, the fully open design of the Evofire does not conceal the lamp in a large metal canister, which can trap some of the heat it generates, lowering lamp lifetime and performance
- Lamps installed in an Evofire run at up to 10 degrees C cooler than a typical can-style fire rated downlight from leading LED brands - this can extend the lifetime of the lamps
- Very tough due to steel construction, with fire-resistant glass front
- Cut-out diameter suits hole diameters from 70 to 100mm
- The 1mm blend-in bezel is up to 10 times thinner than typical IP65 rated downlights, has a high quality powder coating and fits almost flush with the ceiling, so the downlight looks discreet and pleasing in any setting
- Fire rated to 30, 60 and 90 minutes in compliance with BS476 Part 21:1987, Air Tightness compliant with Part C and Part L and Resistance to Sound compliant with Part E. See installation guide for full details
- IP (Ingress Protection) Rating: IP65 IP Rating (Back/Recessed side): IP20
- Easy to install Loop-in/Loop-out piano-key style terminal block

Great new or retrofit downlights
Great little downlights. No bulky can on the back to achieve the fire rating and easy to install with the normal spring clips rather than the horrible self other springs that break the plasterboard when you pull them back down. Ability to fit all size GU10’s. I’m not a fan of the single piece LED fittings, even with a 5 year warranty on those it’s going to go at some point and to find a whole new fitting to match is going to be a headache for any electrician. These solve this issue with just a lamp change. Push fit terminal box could be a little bigger but I manageable. Oversize ring covers up any damage around the cut out so makes a great replacement for old. Will be using as my go to fitting 100% Even though 110mm ring they don’t look ou of place, especially when white.
