Easy to install, good quality

Replaced some broken UPC handles, easy to install, although the spring is a little fiddly to install. These look good and have a solid feel.

Perfect drop in replacement for a previous Hoppe front door handle that had died after 15 years of use. Make sure you measure carefully and choose sprung or unsprung to get the right part. Good quality.

Good lightweight well made handles

Bought 6 of these by mistake (believing they were Chrome on Brass) to replace Hoppe handles which had gone floppy due to disintegration of the internal spring mechanism. The price was Excellent but I should have realised that at around £12 per pair they would be Lightweight Aluminium and not heavy Chromed Brass. My fault - but I was able to use the internal spring mechanism from 2 pairs (being lightweight there is only one spring in each pair) to repair my existing Chrome handles which needed 2 springs - one for each handle on each side of the door. Pleased that I was able to return the remaining 4 unused pairs to Ironmongery Direct under their Free Returns policy for a full refund which was as good as instant. Absolutely brilliant service all round, and I have now ordered and received 2 pairs of the Chrome on Brass handles which I should have taken care to order correctly in the first place. A senior moment on my part which Ironmongery Direct helped me to put right without any problems or undue cost. Superb Seller.
