Gas safe requirement
A gas safety certificate was refused because the existing vents in french doors could be shut. These were the only non closing vents shallow enough to fit. Quick delivery. Quality is fine but would have liked to see crosshead rather than the (necessarily very small) slot screws.

Splendid finish
In order to give a sympathetic finish to a two hundred and fifty year old door requiring a continuous air flow, I wrestled with various solutions ; as the clients had accumulated a variety of decorative brassware the polished brass hooded vents seemed to fit the bill, not only suitable but splendid.
