If it ain't broke...just change the colour.
While remodelling a pair of wooden entrance gates it became apparent that the existing brass letterplate (still in perfect working order) didn't really work with the new dark grey painted finish - so I ordered the exact same model in chrome, ensuring a perfect fit.
