Along with the door knob I bought several other items all of which were perfect for the door.

The handle is difficult to grip (quite sharp in some areas). The spindle was very short and if engaged fully in one side would not engage in the other and so could lock someone out. It's not as if my door was particularly thick (standard 40mm). I contact ID and a replacement spindle sent out but this was too thick for the handle so of no use. I had to ask around to see if any friends had any old spares.
